Target Center Celebrating 20 Years!

Target CenterThe Target Center was officially completed on October 13, 1990. It is has been the home of the Minnesota Timberwolves for their entire existence. This season marks the 20th year since it has been opened. The Target Center has also been home to the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA since 1999. The Target Center has hosted the 1994 NBA All-Star Game and the 1995 NCAA Women's Final Four. It's hard to realize how much the Target Center has transformed during it's 20 years of existence. Congratulations to the Target Center for their 20th year!

Don't Look Now, But Optimism Growing Around Minnesota Timberwolves

Michael BeasleyWe know it's only preseason. However, the Minnesota Timberwolves have looked impressive thus far and the optimism is growing around the fanbase. There are plenty of articles written recently about the upgraded defense, shooting, and talent compared to last year's team. As I've stated before, the depth on this team is leaps and bounds ahead of what has been here before. I like what I see so far and hope we can turn some heads this season. The first game is on Wednesday, October 27 at home against the Sacramento Kings.

Minnesota Timberwolves Preseason Opener October 12

Minnesota TimberwolvesThe Minnesota Timberwolves are fresh off of 2 wins in London and Paris. They return now to Minnesota to face off against the Denver Nuggets at the Target Center on Tuesday, October 12. The Timberwolves handled the defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers and then defeated the New York Knicks. Like I've said before, I think this team will surprise some people. They will have to rely on their depth and playing smart basketball. Get your preseason tickets for the Minnesota Timberwolves!
